Electricity Generation – Saving Electricity Costs
With the latest increase in electricity bills and inevitably, more to come, it has become evident that we will have to do something about it.
Eskom has placed itself in a situation where it has no option but to make electricity as expensive as possible. Keeping electricity usage to a minimum so they can buy time to create a more sustainable solution. But like with any parastatal, that does not mean that there will automatically be a price reduction even in 10 years time (as we all know too well from how the petrol price is not reduced in line with world prices).
Because of bad planning, there is a shortage (to put it mildly) of power station in South Africa. It takes something like 10 years to build a power station and that is assuming one has the budget for it. The cost of constructing a power station runs into the billions of Rand.
Added to all this, we’re about to destroy the planet because of carbon emissions causing global warming. To which coal power stations are a large contributors.
It has now all come down to us to do something about the problem. Not only if we want to save the environment, but if we actually want to survive as a species.
A sustainable solution…
There is a system developed in the US that shows you, every step in the creation of your own electricity from solar power and wind turbines.
It is one of the top selling products in ClickBank – a payment system, allowing merchants to sell online and accept credit card payments. ClickBank keeps track and gives statistics about products sold through their sales system. Earth4Energy scores high in terms of purchases, but most importantly scores extremely low in terms of returns. This shows that many people are buying the product and that very few are returning it.
This makes it a viable proposition in terms of an affordable solution to the electricity crisis.
